Oh, it's on...

I could probably bore you with a chariot race story or something, but I'm about to watch the *said in the voice of the assistant coach on the film 'American Pie'* culm-i-nation! of a great year of college football. Of course by that I mean my university's football team playing in the national championship bowl.

So if you are from Alabama, you can just go to hell. To everyone else, come on in because I'll be watching the bigscreen...

  1. I'm not a huge football fan mostly because I'm surrounded by pathetic teams here in the NW...

  2. Me too VE. What is it with Washington and Oregon? And Eric...why have you not made a longhorns mosaic?

  3. I'm from Alabama, but I go to Auburn so I am begging you PLEASE have the Longhorns will tonight. I really don't want to hear it from any Bama fans for the next year

  4. Are you saying that Ben Hur is an idiot?

  5. VE,
The Seahawks were greatly feared not too long ago...

    Nikki,
I am thinking of making a Mack Brown mosaic and auctioning it off for the Texas Exes.

    Mr O,
I think it was kind of an empty victory for Alabama this time, so hopefully you won't hear too much from them.

    Eric,
Yes, you really saw all that happen last night.

    Mo,
By Rome's will, lepers and outcasts without hope!

    MJenks,
I just drank a lot to cope...
They did pretty well considering everything, who knew the quarterback is such an important player?
Kindle on defense had a monster game though, and the backup quarterback finally settled in, it seemed.

  6. I wanted to watch that game but hubby had the remote!

Here in town a car dealer was making a bet with his customers...if the Longhorns lost, he would give the cars to them for free. His bet was for 3 million dollars!

  8. I'm an Oklahoma girl (not a Sooner, but a Cowboy)...so I would have to say, um...Go Alabama??

Texas had a kick ass season this year...and the game would have been so much more riveting had Colt McCoy not gotten hurt...but, we'll never know, will we?

  9. Ooh, I've just googled it. It's like rugby, only softer and more delicate.

  10. I'm afraid I'm several days behind. I missed the game, but I would have been pulling for the Long Horns and I'm not just saying that to brown nose.

  11. Heather,
Wow, that is such a generous / crazy offer on the cars...

    Dutch Donut Girl,
    :)
Yes, but I was in kind of a different state after the shock and horror of seeing the star player injured in the first few moments of the game, so I had to answer myself. Funny how that can change everything.

    Lopez,
My uncle played on the national championship Sooner team back in the day, so occasionally I root for them. But never, under any circumstances, for OSU or Alabama.

    Mr. C,
Yeah, well, maybe next year (nope, not going to happen).

    The Jules,
Yes, they wear all the safety pads and things that water down the true sport.

    Chaka,
Well I hope I didn't ruin the surprise for you with my post then!
