  5. Kristine, thanks! I kind of laughed at the thought of echos in a restroom (and the other obvious connotations), so I had to include that slide... Thanks for stopping by.

Mr. Condescending, thanks! I haven't picked the damn thing up for a year and a half until this weekend.

  9. Thanks Lopez! I'm glad you didn't think it was total $#*@#. I just thought the toilet shot was perfect for a solo that I knew would have problems... And it's good to hear that it was close enough to the real thing to make you think of the song.

Hi Lulu, thanks!! When I have some time after work, I'll have to check out your site. You live in France? Cool...

  13. Hi LiLu, I linked over to your blog from Dr. Zibbs (I think) and you have some seriously partying pictures, even your kittens pictures were great, and I'm a guy not likely to say such things, so... I'll stop talking now.

Well you're quite the trumpet player, Sir. Not painful at all.

Also, I like to believe that when John Travolta is "taking care of business" he always hears trumpets. Except when he's eaten Mexican food in which case he hears trombones.

  20. Vegetable Assassin, thanks, that means a lot to me coming from you since I can tell you have wonderful taste in music. :)

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go rehearse for a later brass quartet at a nearby Tex-Mex restaurant....

  21. yeah - I love me some Black Eyed Peas. haha

I was also a kickass trumpet player for 12 years (during high school, university, & post grad) so I think I'm the only one here who's professionally qualified to say "you got the chops, baby!"

  22. Well katrocket, thanks, and that is so cool! Girl trumpet players are way hot BTW.

You'll understand then that it's tough to pick it back up and play with a regular 5c when you haven't played anything for a year and a half, but it was a dare so...
